24.06.2010Stasevich and Alumona on transfer list

BATE midfielder Igor Stasevich and forward Alexander Alumona added to transfer list. Now the two players are likely to leave the club.
"It was a tough decision, but sometimes you just have to take it. Igor and Alex are skilled players with great experience, and I believe it is not reasonable to keep them just as substitutes. We would like to give more chances to the young players. We think we need more connection with our youth now", — Viktor Gancharenko commented on the decision.

"We want to stimulate our youth to become better. But with that quantity of experienced players they barely have a chance to show up in the list of 18. We lost the succession of players we always had. And with this amount of players we still do not play as we were supposed to. That's why we decided on that. Anyway, it does not mean that we do not doubt in both players' abilities and wish them good luck", — FC BATE Chairman Anatoliy Kapskiy commented on the issue.

Alumona appeared in BATE before 2009 season and Stasevich was considered to be one of the clubs icons. Igor was born in Borisov, and went all the way through BATE school from a talented youngster to national team player.
