Dubra: a lot of emotions

BATE defender Kaspars Dubra commented on the game against FC Dinamo Minsk in Belarusian Cup semifinal first leg (0-0):

- I am happy to play my first game for BATE. At the very beginning I was a bit nervous and made a couple of small mistakes. I think this is understandable: it is difficult to enter such a game without good playing tonus. But then I pulled myself together and seemingly played well.

There was a lot of tackles in the game. Sometimes such important games are decided more by character and fighting spirit. This is why there was a lot of emotions, fouls and yellow cards. There were no indifferent people on both sides. I think the crowd felt that. Only the goals were missing.

The coaches warned us Bećiraj was the most dangerous player in Dinamo side. We had to play attentively with him, to push a bit. I fell well in the air and did not feel anything difficult. On the whole we were quite confident back in defence.
